AltN Research + Design was founded in 2005 by Nick Puckett and is focused on creating dynamic links between software, robotics, biological agents, chemical engineering, and material behavior that generate new potentials for the design of intelligent environments. Nick is currently an Assistant Professor of Design Technology in the Digital Futures Initiative at the Ontario College of Art and Design.
He was previously a joint faculty member of the Dept. of Architecture and the Dept. of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Kentucky and a Unit Master, Course Tutor in Media Studies, and head of the AAcode research cluster at the Architectural Association in London.
